WHAT IS HUMAN TRAFFICKING?            FACT VS. MYTH

Simply put, human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery. It involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to exploit human beings for labor or commercial sex.

Every year, millions of men, women, and children worldwide, including in the United States, are involved in human trafficking. They are often lured with false promises and manipulated by people they trust.  Then, they are forced and coerced into prostitution, domestic servitude, or other types of labor.

We want to be a safe way out for women involved in human trafficking. We target the issue of domestic sex trafficking which by law means the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act- induced by force, fraud, or coercion or any of these acts performed by someone under 18.
